ASER Policy Briefs are one of the numerous ways to disseminate ASER findings amongst the stakeholders of Pakistan’s education sector. These policy briefs are used by policy makers at the national, provincial and district levels, ranging from the government officials to various private sector entities to inform policy making.
The aim of these policy briefs is to highlight some key issues and challenges in the current state of education in the country. The issues that are addressed range from problems of access, quality, gender, early childhood education, mothers’ literacy and the private public dichotomy. Each policy brief sheds light on the current state of affairs and poses possible remedies for the policy makers and other concerned bodies to implement.
