The ASER Tools Review Workshop 2023 has officially begun today in Islamabad at #FBISE. Representatives from Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office , VSO, #DCARS, Balochistan assessment and examination commission Quetta, Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, #PIE AND PEC-Pakistan Education Council are present!

 

Ms. Freya Perry, Education Advisor from FCDO spoke about the importance of ASER and the ongoing support by FCDO for ASER. She shed light on some new developments for ASER, one of them being the digitalization of the tools!

 

Mr. Qaiser Alam, Chairman FBISE spoke about the successful use of ASER all over Pakistan, starting from its productivity in schools and provinces. Federal Board has summative assessment for higher grades but ASER has done a great job in maintaining the formative assessment as a link to foundational learning!

 

Mr. Qaiser Murad M&E Manager, VSO spoke about the importance of ASER and the utility of the tools for Khyber Pakhtunwa and the ongoing process of this tools success!

Mr. Fida Hussain from ITA conducted the workshop on the criteria for ASER Tools and Overview of ASER Tools 2023
