LAHORE: The Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2012 for Punjab indicates a disparity between the northern and southern districts of the province especially in terms of enrollment of students between the ages of six and 16. The findings were shared at the provincial launch of the ASER 2012 Punjab report at the Children’s Library Complex on Wednesday.

LAHORE: The Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2012 for Punjab indicates a disparity between the northern and southern districts of the province especially in terms of enrollment of students between the ages of six and 16.

No discrepancy: Govt, ASER figures similar, till Oct 2012

LAHORE: There seemed to be a significant discrepancy on some indicators in the study released on Wednesday by Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) and the figures quoted for the same indicators by a School Education Department (SED) additional secretary.

Survey depicts dismal picture of education in Punjab

Despite lofty claims by the Punjab government, the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) Punjab 2012 citizen-led survey has depicted a very dismal picture of education in Punjab and said that a large number of school-going age children possessing extremely low learning outputs are progressing and studying in higher classes in the province.
